HeadWaters Resort and Casino

Headwaters Resort & Casino in Norfolk, Virginia, will be a $500 million casino hotel on the Elizabeth River next to Harbor Park. The casino will reportedly have 3,000 slot machines and 150 table games, and the hotel will offer 300 rooms and suites. Construction will begin in 2022 and be completed in the summer or fall of 2024. On-site temporary casinos, which will reportedly be located on the same land as the future Head Waters Resort & Casino, will open in 2023 and will operate 24/7 while the resort casino is being built. However, as of March 2023, construction has not yet begun at the Head Waters Resort & Casino or temporary casino.

On May 24, 2022, Norfolk City Council decided that the water resort & casino of the pampaki Indian tribe would not be built on tribal land. Casinos are still built in downtown Norfolk, but will be commercial.

Voters in five Virginia cities still have to decide if they want the casino to move to the neighborhood in November 2022. 슬롯머신
